ABOUT US
The Early Career Researcher Network of Networks (ECR NoN) is a platform for
ECR networks worldwide to communicate, collaborate, and foster a common vision on sustainability research, towards a sustainable future. |
GOALS
Bringing together early researcher networks working on various disciplines within sustainability (e.g., but not limited to; ecology, climate change, polar, biology, governance, land use change, economy, law, etc.).

Foster communication, exchange and collaborations among the ECR networks towards building a common vision on global sustainability.

Work with international partners in the sustainability sphere, (e.g. Future Earth) to bring in an Early career perspective to help shape the future of sustainability research.

STRUCTURE
Council
The ECR NoN is governed by the ECR NoN Council, who discusses the strategy, activities, and developments of the ECR NoN.
Each member network may nominate two members to the council. Each member network has one vote. The council is to meet twice annually. The meeting could be onsite or online depending on the availability of financial resources. The council elects the executive committee. Please note: The structure may be altered in the future to reflect the evolving need of the ECR-NoN. |
Executive Commitee
The ECR NoN Executive Committee is overseeing the ECR NoN development and its activities. The ECR NoN is elected by the ECR Council and is led by the Chair and Co-Chair, as well as all the chairs of the subcommittees. The Chair and Co-Chair will have overlapping terms with an overlap of 1 year between them.
